The Road goes ever on and on Down from the door where it began.
Now far ahead the Road has gone,
And I must follow, if I can,
Pursuing it with eager feet,
Until it joins some larger way
Where many paths and errands meet.
And whither then? I cannot say.

Thought for the Day
True freedom is not simply doing what we please. True freedom is doing the will of God and delighting in that doing. Sin, in this sense, is what imprisons us and keeps us from being free.
Interesting. I've been meditating on this idea quite a bit lately, and its been very nourishing to my soul.
Eddie Vedder, on the Into the Wild soundtrack, probably attempting to accurately portray Chris McCandles' mindset, sings: "On bended knee is no way to be free..."
And Derek Webb, on Caedmon's Call's latest album, sings about the opulence of the West: "You're only free when you have no choice..."
I think its really interesting to ponder both of those quotes in their context to unearth the truth/falsehood of each. They seem to be quite opposing one another, but they both seem very profound at first hearing.

Good thought. Thank you, Romans 6.
