A Conference Worth Going To

The Desiring God 2006 Conference will be held from September 29 to October 1 in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The theme of this years conference will be Above All Earthly Powers: The Supremacy of Christ in a Postmodern World. While I'm not usually a huge fan of the conference scene (I think many of them encourage Christians to use loads of money on things that are not Kingdom oriented at best...i.e. expensive hotels and expensive rounds of golf), I would give my Reformation Study Bible for a chance to attend this one. Speakers include Mark Driscoll, D.A. Carson, Timothy Keller, David Wells, Voddie Baucham (go Texas!), and the man himself...John Piper. This is the website: Here.
