Ike in Bridge City

According to CNN.com, "The coastal town of Bridge City was flooded by the Neches River and 9 feet of water was reported downtown."

According to FoxNews.com "Farther up the coast, much of Bridge City and downtown Orange were under up to 8 feet of water and rescue teams in dump trucks were plowing through in an effort to reach families trapped on roofs and inside attics."

Please pray for my community and family. It is likely that we have all lost a lot.

My wife and I live in Indiana. We have been praying for Bridge City and Orange since we have relatives in both places.

Please know that they are in our thoughts and prayers now and in the futrue as they go through the recovery process.

Thank you Jason for asking everyone to pray for us. We have lost our home. It is under water in Bridge City. However, we're all safe and that's what matters most. I just wish I had evacuated more pictures and sentimental things that ya'll made for me growing up. Maybe some of it can be salvaged. They are saying it will be weeks before we can even go back to check out the damage. Please continue to pray for all the people affected by this tragedy.
Love you,
Mom
